Std IX: In keeping with the directives of the Department, Std IX began their work towards the NavBharat Saksharta Mission. Post the literacy survey conducted, data collected was recorded. Illiterate parents in the age group 15-55, were invited for a meeting on 1st February, 2024. Information about the mission was shared with them and a few students stressed on the importance of education through the song Padhna Likhna Sikho. It was decided that we would work towards adult literacy using the method of Each One, Teach One, this involving parents and students in the teaching-learning process, through various activities. Finally, a WhatsApp Group of all member parents was created for sharing of information and learning modules.

Std V to VIII: Following the guidelines for the implementation of the New India Literacy Program (NILP), another meeting was organized for the uneducated family members of the students from Stds V to VIII. 25 of them gathered in school on 7th Feb 2024 at 8am. The session began with Std IX students singing ?Padhna Likhna Sikho...? Ms Rina Dixit and Ms Rupali D welcomed the candidates and spoke to them in Hindi and Marathi respectively. They explained the importance of literacy and encouraged them to start learning in their free time. The candidates provided their details to the respective class teachers. They were enthusiastic to begin their education journey with the motivation and guidance of the teachers.
