Professor ChandrasekharPatibandlasaid, 'I am truly impressed by the infrastructure made available in your school for students, whether it's the availability of a variety of books in the library or the equipment for conducting experiments in labs or even the sports facilities. Particularly, the team spirit of the teachers, the discipline of the students and their relationship is commendable.
I observed enormous curiosity of the students towards science & technology, and to know the hitherto unknown things. This is exactly what is expected from the student community and needs to be encouraged. I am sure your teachers will surely 'rise to the occasion' under your able leadership. I too assure you all the support from my side in this regard.' Throughout the week the morning assemblies included a small slot where interesting facts about ISRO, their scientist as well as other aspects of astronomy were shared. The assemblies would conclude with a small quiz to make sure everyone kept their ears open. Altogether, it was an interactive and interesting week for the students who were grateful for the new exposure given to them.
