The Guide Investiture Ceremony was held on April 25th, 2023. 40 students of SJC participated in it. It was a short, simple and solemn ceremony within the company that makes a girl, an aspirant, a Guide. The ceremony began with a prayer song, flag hoisting and oath taking ceremony for the students receiving the Pravesh Badge and Scarf. The oath taking ceremony was led by the guide Captain, Ms Leena Vairale. Badges and Scarfs were distributed by the Guide Captain and the Unit Leader. The Guide Captain then gave a brief explanation on the importance of the guide uniform and the various badges to be earned. Every guide was welcomed by a left hand shake and the guide salute - 'Once a Guide, Forever a Guide'.
