September 8th is also celebrated as Girl Child Day and International Literacy Day. To celebrate this auspicious day the teachers had planned two activities.
On the occasion of Girl Child Day students had to prepare a poster, write a poem (on their own), draw and paint, and write an essay on the topic 'Girl Child'.
On the occasion of International Literacy Day, students had to teach two people to write their names, sign and read basic English words and numbers and make people computer literate. Teach them to use a gadget or an app if they don't know how to use one.
