Diwali Dhamaka Workshop by VII D, Khana Khazana - Day 1
A Diwali Dhamaka workshop was conducted for students of Class VII from 26th October – 31st October, 2020.
Day 1 of the workshop was conducted by teachers Ms. Simin and Ms. Rupal via Zoom App from 3.30pm- 5.00pm.
64 students had registered for the workshop from class VII.
Students were given hands on training for two Diwali recipes, namely Choco nutty ladoos and Chatpata Chivda.
Chatpata Chivda was taught to the students by Ms. Simin Shah.
Students were given a pre-requirement of the recipe a day prior to the workshop and asked to keep all ingredients ready.
The teacher had recorded videos and these were screen shared with the students via Zoom App.
Students were delighted at the end of the workshop and send various images of the two recipes.
Diwali Dhamaka Workshop by VII D, Agile Fingers - Day 2
A Diwali Dhamaka workshop was conducted for students of Class VII from 26th October – 31st October, 2020.
Day 2 of the workshop was conducted by Teacher Ms. Simin Shah via Zoom App from 3.30pm- 4.30pm.
72 students had registered for the workshop from class VII.
Students were shown a power – point presentation on the Festival of Diwali , a video on the festival and explained the observances of the festival. Later, students were shown videos on how to create various artistic and creative things using symbols of Diwali with the agility of their fingers.
The teacher showed the students various Rangoli Designs and simple DIY Art works via Zoom App.
Students were delighted at the end of the workshop and sent various images of their creativity with their Agile Fingers.
Diwali Fun Activities by VIII C
Teacher Reena Castellino gave a talk on "Growing Up" on 26-10-2020 for all the divisions of Std VIII followed by Diwali Fun Activities like Rangoli Competition, Diya Decoration & Food Junction that took place live on Zoom by VIII C.
Festival Dhamaka Competition by X B
XB had a Festival Dhamaka Competition like Cake Making, Mehndi, Rangoli, Hair Dressing, etc.
Diwali Activity - Class VB - 27-11-2020
On the occasion of the festival of lights - Diwali, the students of class VB were given a DIY (Do It Yourself) Project to be done during the two weeks vacation span. For this, the students were divided into their HOUSE groups and were given different topics each. The Projects were as follows:
The House of ZEAL (Red) - Diya making/decoration
The House of HONOUR (Blue) - Greeting Card
The House of INDUSTRY (Yellow) - Lantern making
The House of PERSEVERANCE (Green) - Banner making
Majority of the students participated in the activity and responded very well to the same. Every child was appreciated of the efforts taken for preparing the articles and the best articles from each group were also announced on the reopening day after vacation, i.e. on 21st November, 2020.
